Since our last job posting, we have seen a boom of new opportunities pop up online. We have also seen several older postings up the ante out of pure desperation to find new appliance repair technicians. Keep in mind our academy is only a two-week course, so you could apply for these jobs in just a few days! Formal training will give you a significant edge against many of the other applicants who are not technically certified for these positions.

Aramark
Dallas-Fort Worth, TX
This position will concentrate on fixing coffee machines and beverage equipment supplied by Aramark at customer locations. My guess here is that you will be working primarily in hotels and local restaurants with Aramark service contracts.
The position pays $20-$21 per hour with a $1,250 retention bonus.

This position has been posted for 30 days, so they are clearly desperate for employees. Starting salary range is between $60,000 and $100,000 based on experience. Must be at least 18 years old to apply. The listing has been recently changed to note “appliance repair or related experience,†so this should be ripe for someone coming out of a school like ours with a certification.

This is a new posting that has only been active since the weekend. The position currently pays between $25 and $35 per hour, and it is a full-time position. However, they do require at least three years of experience for all applicants.

This full-time position offers between $15 to $72 per hour for hits technicians. This posting is only several days old and is touting individuals looking for “a job change,†so we think they could be friendly to newly trained technicians with a certification.
