Accredited Appliance is looking for an in home appliance repair technician for a well-established company that has been in business for 30 plus years.
We are seeking a dedicated team player who is able to ensure fast, flexible, and expert service to every customer via excellent time management skills.
Appliance repair responsibilities include:
Provide timely and quality repairs of customers’ appliancesMaintain high-quality customer service and work cooperatively with office staff to ensure optimal experience for customers.Meet key performance metrics and/or productivity goals • Provide knowledgeable and courteous repair servicesUsing software to manage route, create detailed invoices of job requirements, costs, processing payments and closing out work orders.Requirements of the Service Technician role include:• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • Recent graduate of Fred’s Academy or Dyer Appliance Academy
Tablet or large smart phone for customer invoicing, parts research.Confidently and competently repair most major brands and types of appliancesMust have your own vehicle (Truck or Van) and tools of the trade.Working mechanical knowledge, including the use of tools and test equipment • Ability to perform accurate repair of customer’s applianceAbility to follow directions and specific process steps to ensure quality workmanshipFlexibility to work variable days/hoursMust possess & maintain a valid state driver’s license for the state in which you are applying • Must be at least 18 years of ageAbility to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.Clean driving history and background.Six figure earning potential for sealed system techs!Excellent earnings potential. Field training/mentorship available for the right candidate.
Job Types: Employee/ W2
$17-25 DOE plus monthly commission/production bonus
Our two top techs earn $95-145k and work 5 days per week.
Entry Level 1-2 yrs experience $40-45k average
Sealed System 3-5 yrs experience $45-62,5k
Sealed System 5-10 yrs $65k-80k+

For Rookie techs who have just completed training with limited or no field experience, we offer the following for techs with a can do attitude and meet our hiring criteria:
For the first 3 months:
In field daily ride alongs with senior technicians. On-site training in real customer situations. This will expedite your technical ability in disassembly, technical troubleshooting, reassembly, and completing repairs. As well as acquiring or increasing soft sales skills working with all types of personalities while in the home.
Ongoing mentorship to guide and direct you to achieving the short, intermediate, and long-term personal and financial goals.
Your 3rd Month:
You will be able to confidently identify, sell and complete repairs successfully on your own.A basic entry-level toolset is provided if you do not have tools of the trade.Commission-eligible production revenue bonuses starting in 3rd month! We use a hybrid pay scale similar to Fred’s techs that was recommended by Alex at Fred’s. Our existing technicians love our compensation plan. We pay a salary and techs rarely go over 40 hours per week. In fact, most times our techs average 35 hours per week and still get paid for 40 hrs. We care about consistency and want our employees not to stress about a lower paycheck when it is slow.
