This is a full-time position with a well-established veteran family-owned business repairing washers and dryers on Fort Polk Louisiana supporting our military. We perform these services from the shores of North Carolina to Alaska and throughout the country. This position however is permanent at Fort Polk.

Federal Contractor is seeking a full-time, Monday through Friday, experienced Appliance Technician for a Washer and Dryer Maintenance contract on Fort Polk. General Responsibilities:

Responds to service calls to install, service, and repair Washers & Dryers on Federal Facilities.
Examines appliance during operating cycle to detect excess vibration, overheating, fluid leaks, gas leaks and loose parts.
Cleans and washes parts to remove carbon, grease, and dust.
Replaces worn or defective parts and wiring.
Maintains safe work practices and environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
