RD Appliance Service, Corp. is a family owned and operated business serving Long Island since 1963. We are are seeking an experienced technician for Long Island and NYC. This is a W2 employee position, not a subcontractor position or a lead generation service. We provide all necessary equipment (except basic tools) and cover all expenses.
We set the standards for professionalism and expertise in our industry and strive to provide the highest quality appliance service in our area. We service most brands of appliances but primarily focus on high end brands.

Job Description:
Travel to and from customers homes for diagnosis and repairs of major brands of kitchen and laundry appliances, explain procedures and costs to the customerTroubleshoot and test appliances to identify problemsDiagnose and repair products using schematics and test metersAccurately record product and customer information in our software system, complete work ordersresearch parts needed for repairs and create purchase orderscollect payments from customers
Basic requirements:
minimum 2 years experience repairing high end brands of kitchen and laundry appliances. Sealed system experience / EPA cert is a plusmust be able to read schematicsmust understand basic electricitymust have High School diploma or equivalentmust have clean and valid NYS drivers licensemust be able to pass background and drug testmust be able to lift or maneuver 75 poundsmust speak Englishmust have own hand tools and basic test equipmentmust attend periodic training classes
