We live our code of values of Respect, Integrity, and Customer Focus while having fun in the process!As an Appliance Repair Technician, you are a key member of our team responsible for the quality and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances and other equipment. You also develop new customers by identifying opportunities to sell additional work. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, have a knack for troubleshooting, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. Ideally, you have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers.Specific Responsibilities:
Install home appliances/equipment including but not limited to Smart technologyAccurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer’s home or business (sealed system experience preferred)Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performedEnsure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly servicedComplete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as requiredPerform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positionsCommission and base-pay based compensation modelJob Requirements:
Will provide training but some experience is preferredHigh school graduate or equivalentValid Driver’s License with clean recordMust be at least 18 years of ageProficiency to navigate tablet based technology (iPad)Experience with Smart Home technology (installation and troubleshooting)The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstancesFlexible and variable hours including weekends if requiredWillingness to learn and grow with the franchiseAbility to work semi-autonomously and willingness to sellPositive attitude and customer obsessed (Good people skills goes a long way)Ability to follow a process that is guaranteed to bring successCompensation and Perks:
Base pay for trainees starts at $16 per hour (for new technician) and increases based on experience level Plus commission based on jobs closedIncrease of $0.50 per hour every 6 months indefinitely$100 coffee and food credit per monthWeekly and Monthly competitions to keep things quirky and funYour total pay is in your hands – more jobs you close the more money you makeWhat do you get:
