The Appliance Technician role will be responsible for appliance and installation needs in customers’ homes. The Appliance Technician must have knowledge of refrigeration and dishwashing components, stove installation, garbage disposal installation, and cable installation procedures and regulations. Additionally, you will also be responsible for communicating with customers regarding their systems, promoting and selling Cinch maintenance plans and whole home warranty options.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Install, service, and repair washers and dryers, gas and electric range, microwave ovens, dishwashers, trash compactors, garbage disposers and other home appliances in the customers’ homes.
Promote and sell Cinch maintenance and home warranty plan options to customers Evaluate and troubleshoot problems, provide repair options, estimates, and timeframes to customers, taking into account any product warranties they have Maintain high-quality customer service and care Look for ways to improve business performance and enhance the customer experience Ensure all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working order Properly record system component information and repair requirements for all service jobs per company policy Meet key performance metrics, scheduling demands, and company warranty product attachment goals Qualifications:Experience replacing sealed system on built-in refrigeration units
Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment and build effective relationships within the team Must display strong communication skills and technical competence Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business, to include an on-call rotation Experience replacing sealed system on built-in refrigeration units Results oriented and customer focused Strong time management skills and a self-starting mentality Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis Good driving record and valid driver’s license Experience/Other Requirements:At least 3 years of residential appliance repair experience required
Experience performing accurate repair of high-end brand products such as Sub Zero, Wolf, Viking, etc. Education:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
