The Appliance Technician role will be responsible for appliance and installation needs in customers’ homes. The Appliance Technician must have knowledge of refrigeration and dishwashing components, stove installation, garbage disposal installation, and cable installation procedures and regulations. Additionally, you will also be responsible for communicating with customers regarding their systems, promoting and selling Cinch maintenance plans and whole home warranty options.

 

Summary of Responsibilities:

Install, service, and repair washers and dryers, gas and electric range, microwave ovens, dishwashers, trash compactors, garbage disposers and other home appliances in the customers’ homes.Promote and sell Cinch maintenance and home warranty plan options to customersEvaluate and troubleshoot problems, provide repair options, estimates, and timeframes to customers, taking into account any product warranties they haveMaintain high-quality customer service and careLook for ways to improve business performance and enhance the customer experienceEnsure all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working orderProperly record system component information and repair requirements for all service jobs per company policyMeet key performance metrics, scheduling demands, and company warranty product attachment goalsQualifications:

Experience replacing sealed system on built-in refrigeration unitsAbility to work well within a team-oriented environment and build effective relationships within the teamMust display strong communication skills and technical competenceAbility to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business, to include an on-call rotationExperience replacing sealed system on built-in refrigeration unitsResults oriented and customer focusedStrong time management skills and a self-starting mentalityAbility to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basisGood driving record and valid driver’s licenseExperience/Other Requirements:

At least 3 years of residential appliance repair experience requiredExperience performing accurate repair of high-end brand products such as Sub Zero, Wolf, Viking, etc.Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Sealed Systems certification (preferred)
