Posts are starting to slow down just a bit, so don’t be surprised if you see a few older ones still being posted here. However, I would also say that the reason those posts are still there is because we continue to have a shortage of appliance repair technicians in the area. So, without further ado, let’s check out some of the better postings from job sites for appliance repair technician jobs.
Appliance Repair Technician
Conn’s Home Plus

In terms of benefits, this is one of the better positions that I have seen, with a matching 401(k), dental, medical, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a host of other benefits that other companies are not offering.
Qualifications
- 2 years of recent, professional appliance repair experience
- Experience repairing HE washers and dryers, refrigerators, and gas and electric stoves is required
- Outstanding diagnostic/problem solving skills
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain service records and parts inventory
- HVAC/EPA/Sealed System certification is required/preferred
They are starting their technicians out between $45,000 and $80,000, so even a little experience and you are making a decent salary here.

Commercial Appliance Tech
Platinum Enterprises
Texas
Job starts at $20 per hour, you are going to make a decent wage right out of the gate. The company also offers a variety of shift options, so part-time work does seem like a possibility with these guys. The only real consideration they want to see is that you do have experience working in some type of customer service, but that is a requirement most can fill in any position they were working where they were dealing directly with customers.

Appliance Repair Technician
SG Appliance Repair
Dallas-Fort Worth
This position is looking for at least two to four years of experience, so those of you just coming out of the academy cannot apply for this one. However, for those of you meeting that requirement, they are starting people off at $60,000 to $100,000 per year, so this is a really good gig in this field.
