Prompt Appliance Repair of DFW, TX, is looking to hire a full-time Appliance Repair Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and install the needed parts while providing excellent customer service.Responsibilities:➢ Repair of residential appliances: washers, dryers, refrigerators, ice makers, ovens, microwaves, ranges, range hoods, cooktops, and dishwashers in the customers’ homes.➢ Arrive on time to customers, work according to the schedule➢ Evaluate and troubleshoot problems, and provide repair options, estimates, and timeframes to customers.➢ Communicate details to the Manager effectively andplace orders for parts needed to repair residential appliances.➢ Correctly record system component information and repair requirements for all service jobs per company policy.➢ Maintain high-quality customer service and care.➢ Keep all tools, parts, and equipment in good working order. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements:➢ Valid driver’s license and good driving record.➢ Certification in appliance repair or an associate’s degree is preferred.➢ Ability to handle the physical workload; lift to 50 pounds occasionally.➢ Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.➢ You are skilled in processing paperwork professionally.➢ Record all activities related to repairs, routes, and other activities.➢ Results-oriented and customer-focused.➢ Wear uniform & maintain standards of personal grooming & appearance consistent.➢ Should display strong communication skills and technical competence.
