Potential to earn $70-100K+ per year, plus a $2,000 sign on bonus for qualified applicants after 90 days of employment. This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, have a knack for troubleshooting, are mechanically inclined, and are able to manage time. Ideally, you have proven communication skills. This position provides timely and quality repairs of customers’ appliances while maintaining high levels of customer service. Six to eight service calls are dispatched each day using technology, so you are not reporting to our main office.
Specific Responsibilities:Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer’s homeProvide cost estimates for repairs and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performedComplete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as requiredPerform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
Job Requirements:1 year of appliance repair experience or Appliance Repair Certification (recent graduates welcome)Strong mechanical skills and attention to detailMust have own truck and toolsMust be able to obtain certificate of liability insuranceExcellent customer relations skillsClean driving recordMust pass background screen and drug testPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the contractor is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
